It was a memorable day filled with remarkable stories and fascinating highlights that will only help to magnify and shed light on the goodwill and massive support that Sen. Ayoade Adeseun has garnered over time since his time as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Needless to say, it was Senator Ayoade Adeseun himself who led the consultation tour of Bayo Adelabu and other candidates across the local governments of Ogbomoso with Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen and the other candidates well in attendance. Everywhere we visited was a welcome home reception for Senator Adeseun and team, as his blueprint and goodwill remain indelible and ineffaceable in the minds of the people of Ogbomoso and beyond.

The consultation tour took off with a trip to Onpetu of Ijeru kingdom, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran, Lagbami Osekun III, in Ogbomoso South LG. Sen. Ayoade Adeseun while addressing the monarch use the opportunity to introduce the deputy governor of Accord, Prof. Abiodun Ayanfemi Ayandele whose father is the late veteran progressive in Ogbomoso, Chief Afilu Ayandele. Director General of Adelabu Campaign, Oloye Adegoke Adegboyega also expressed his profound respect for the monarch since way back and solicited his support for the Accord candidates.

Issues affecting the monarchs and the community were critically discussed, many of which include LG autonomy and many relating issues, primary health care centers, poor education and the many environmental hazard affecting the people of Ijeru. How conversations fell off from the last election was discussed and corrections were made on ways to forge ahead.

We visited the Alajaawa of Ajaawa, Oba Thompson Adeyeye in Ogo Oluwa LG where Senator Adeseun received similar reception and his good work were clearly audioed by the monarch for the people. Our next stop was to the entire traditional council rulers and Chiefs of Ajaawa including traders and artisans.

We then visited Association of Traders and Artisans including the Hausa Community and Miyetti Allah leaders at Opete Community Hall, Opete, Alapata in Ogo Oluwa LG. They were ready to support a credible candidates in Bayo Adelabu of Accord under the leadership of Sen. Ayoade Adeseun. The Miyetti Allah infact vowed to support Accord entirely in this region.

When we visited the Alapa of Okinapa, Oba Prof. John Akintola Akinola and the traditional council rulers and Chiefs in Surulere LG. It was a scholarly affair as King was a known Professor from Lautech also from the same department as the deputy governor, Prof. Ayandele, so we can deduce that with privilege they are well known colleagues in the academia. Oba Prof John Akintola expressed his close affinity with Sen. Ayoade Adeseun and that they have come since way back. He also took time to express his displeasure on how things have recently deteriorated in the state and especially the regions where Kings now use their hard earned resources to finance affair of their regions as against the constitutional mode. He advised Bayo Adelabu to implement fundamental and human centered projects that will benefit the people of Ogbomoso especially the grassroots and Local Government autonomy is a major hindrance in this present government.

We also visited the Oloko of Okoland Oba Solomon Adegoke and the traditional council rulers and chiefs, Islamic leaders, CAN leaders and traditional religion practitioners in Oko, Surulere LG. The turnout was massive and the support never dropped a ball with the monarchs fully in support of the Accord project with Sen. Adeseun getting instrumental for the success in all these meetings.

The common denominator in these meetings is that the crippled local government system in Oyo State which has consequently affected all sectors in the zone, with the many adverse implications in the poor road Infrastructure, poor health system, poor education, insecurity, environment and employment opportunities. The monarchs were all saddened with the ripple effect of the terrible government on the people of Ogbomoso as obvious system decline has befalling the people of the zone.

I can categorical confirm that Accord has taken over Ogbomoso and victory in that zone is a certainty. The people have spoken and assured their astounding support and promise to go to the polls and vote Accordingly 👍
