President Buhari felicitates Tony Aletor at 60

President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated renowned Insurance, Finance and Investment guru, Chief (Dr) Anthony Aletor, mni, JP on his 60th birthday on August 17, 2022.

Buhari in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, acknowledged Chief Aletor’s dynamic leadership in strengthening Nigeria’s economy with ideas, innovation and global partnerships.

President Buhari joined family members, friends and associates of the entrepreneur and philanthropist in celebrating the milestone, preceded by years of hardwork, dedication and commitment to nation building through risks, expansions and charity.

The President affirmed that Chief Aletor, who is the Aare Bashorun Parakokoyi of Ibadanland, demonstrated patriotism and goodwill by making Nigeria the central focus of his business, while having interests in Kenya, Ghana, Liberia, Gambia, Sierra Leone and United Kingdom.

As the Chairman of Capital Express Holdings Limited turns 60, President Buhari saluted his interest in investing in humanity and growing institutions, most recently, construction of the Prof. Habu Galadima Sports Complex in the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos, Plateau State after attending Course 42, 2020.

The President further prayed for the wellbeing of the Aradakan of Owo Kingdom and his family.

In a related development, hundreds of friends and well-wishers gathered at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Olive Tree Parish, Banana Island, Lagos to celebrate Chief Dr. Tony Aletor in a Diamond Birthday Anniversary programme tagged “12 baskets of praise”. The programme which had over 14 gospel musicians was packaged to appreciate God in the life of Ci-Garin Hausa at 60.

The celebrant who could not hide his joy, traced his history and thanked God for the journey so far. He specially thanked his wife, children, family members, colleagues and business associates while glorifying God on His gratefulness for kindness and gratitude for his goodness.
