Idris Abiola Ajimobi, the son of late governor Abiola Ajimobi and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ibadan Southwest Constituency II, has reiterated the importance of party faithful collaborating for the success of the party in the fast approaching elections, which is a few months ahead.

Ajimobi who addressed members of his constituency (Ibadan Southwest) at their Local Government meeting which held in Ibadan yesterday, said the goal of every member of Oyo State APC should be to win the general elections with a landslide, clearing not just the presidential, but also ensuring that the governorship, all three senate seats, fourteen Rep seats and 32 House of Assembly seats are returned with APC members.

Adding that the APC must be relentless in their efforts, Ajimobi recognized the hardwork of the party exco in the state while also saying there is more work to be done, not just by the leadership of the party, but that a collaborative effort by all members of the party is sancrosant at this time.

“Our goal in 2023 is to win all electable seats from the Presidential election down to the House of Assembly elections. This might look like a lot of work, but of course it is achievable and Insha Allah, we’ll triumph.”

“Our party Exco; the state, local and ward executives are working very hard and we also must complement their hardwork by telling anyone and everyone that APC is the party to join to move Oyo State and Nigeria forward. This is our collective responsibility, let us collaborate and Insha Allah, we’ll be victorious.”

“Campaign opens officially this month, we are ready to give it our best, we are moving into all the nooks and crannies, we’ll put in the work and Insha Allah, we are sure of success in every polling unit in 2023.”
