Just In: Aleshinloye’s Led ALGON, Loses At Appeal Court

The Appeal Court sitting in Ibadan has sacked the Oyo State Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) led by Hon. Abass Aleshinloye, the erstwhile Chairman of Oluyole LG in the noon hours of today.

It should be recalled that, the government of Engr. Seyi Makinde has sacked all the elected local government chairmen and that of the Local Council Development Area, (LCDA) put in place by the former administration and put in place caretaker committee. Then, the sacked elected chairmen seek legal help in reclaiming their mandate from the government of Oyo state by taking government of Engr. Seyi Makinde to court.

In the judgment delivered today, it can be deducted from the summary that, the Court sees the case of the Respondents (ALGON) as being speculative, while that of the Oyo State government is distinguishable with facts, and thus making them having their ways against the sacked ALGON led by Hon. Abass Aleshinloye.
